Our Story

Cuff Studio is an evolving exploration of how two California creatives define home. Founded by Wendy Schwartz and Kristi Bender, the studio designs and produces lighting, furniture, and objects through a distinctly forward lens, creating sculptural pieces that balance architectural form with refinement and play. Inspired by geometry and driven by meticulous craftsmanship, Cuff Studio balances indulgence with approachability, luxury with practicality, and distinctiveness with familiarity. They have a gallery in Los Angeles and maintain a select inventory of offerings available for memo or sit tests in New York City and surrounding areas.

Experience Cuff Studio

Located in the bustling Melrose Hill neighborhood of Los Angeles, Cuff Studio's flagship gallery is available for visits, sit tests, sample requests, and more by appointment only Monday - Friday.

In Spring 2025, Cuff Studio expanded its footprint with a shared space in New York. The Showroom by Studio Nordic x Past Lives in NoMad features select pieces from Cuff Studio — marking a natural continuation of a West Coast-East Coast synergy.

Cuff Studio is an all-female team of incredible women. Our team is small but mighty. We are scrappy and willing to do what is required to propel the business forward. Each member of the team brings their unique history, perspective and insight. We raise our hand to support each other as life’s circumstances require. Cuff Studio is entirely self funded and is therefore very intentional in any decisions and strategies we consider.
